The beginning of the Vietnam and Thailand trip included a 12-hour layover in Seoul (prior to flying to Hanoi). We made the most of it by doing a day tour of the city and the famous temples - very cool! The weather was good, though due to not thinking clearly, I ended up in flip flops (the shoes were in my checked luggage). High of -3 C for the day - pretty chilly compared to California!
