Green Angel, Ghost River Valley 2007

It reached +14 in Calgary that day, and it was a nice +5 in the parking lot - almost no wind, too! An excellent day was in the making. We walked through the dried Ghost Lake and found our way into the canyon (watch for the hidden slot on the left!) The climb came into view and it looked like a beautiful full rope-length of ice, fairly sustained. I went for it and enjoyed the excellent ice conditions. We went up the canyon for a while trying to see where it goes, but soon turned back and rapped off.
