Fun weekend on the east side! We ran into Pavel and Vendula on Friday evening at the Whoa Nellie Deli in Lee Vining, which was a great surprise. On Saturday morning we met Mary, John and Lily and hiked up to Elizabeth Lake, hanging out and chatting, and doing a little fishing! We hung out and camped in Lee Vining again, and woke up to heavy smoke from the Owens River Fire that started on Saturday. We went up to Virginia Lakes to escape the smoke and hiked up a couple of miles enjoying the great lakes and scenery!
