Superslide and East Buttress of Middle Cathedral

This was a crazy weekend. On Saturday, we climbed Superslide and then went to Reed's. After parking, we sat on the cement barrier for a minute, when we saw someone stumble out of the woods, knocking rocks down onto the road and looking like they're severely drunk, almost falling off the trail onto the road (for anyone who has been there, they know the precarious quality of that section of the trail). The person's face was also covered with blood, with more gushing from their head... it's a long story, but Steve fell while bouldering at the base, and had a terrible tumble - we took him to the emergency room, from where he eventually got airlifted to Modesto (and it turned out OK in the end).

On Sunday, we climbed the East Buttress of Middle Cathedral, after which we got passed by noone else other than Alex Honnold while in the descent gully - what a cool experience!
