The 2013/2014 winter is so far all-time record drought in California. No snow at the Black Wall and 55 degree temperatures for Truckee meant t-shirt climbing on Saturday. But Sunday presented amazing ice climbing in Coldstream - the ice was completely dry, if anything on the brittle side! Coldstream is a very cold spot... (scroll to the bottom for the ice pics) (here is a GPS track, 3 miles, ~1.5 h one-way)
