After climbing Royal
Arches the day before, we couldn't find a place to camp
in the valley and escaped to our usual location. We knew the weather
was going to be questionable again and didn't want to get on a long
climb, so we decided to go hiking instead. Neither of us had been to
Hetch Hetchy and the decision was made to check it out - it was
a lot more beautiful than expected, for a reservoir! After chilling
out and having breakfast in the sun at an awesome picnic table, we
hiked along the side to Wapama Falls and snapped some pictures.
I'll have to read up on some of the climbs in the area too, and
it looks like there is some great hiking there!
