Sugarloaf, Winter 2010

Having ice climbed 10 days prior in -20 temperatures in Canada, it was quite the treat to be climbing warm granite in a tshirt! Melissa hadn't been to Sugarloaf so we decided to do a day trip. We started with Farley and Dominion and I finally managed to do The Fracture clean (despite some hanging out before the crux) - fun climb! We finished off with Pony Express which neither of us had done, lots of fun. Only a couple of parties for the whole day, go figure? In the next two weeks we got some amazing dumps of powder... gotta love this area for the variety!
