Moonlight & Snowline
Boxing Day, 2011
Back to Xmas 2011 road trip

A good alternative from shopping on Boxing Day? We showed up at noon, which was perfect timing - the (guided) party on Snowline cleared off, and by the time we finished that, the people from Moonlight went home too. Both climbs were in the best shape I've ever seen them (fat, and not soaking wet). It's such a long walk in there...

A few shots at the end from Guinness Gully in Field too - on December 30th we were on our way to Revelstoke for New Year's, and stopped in Field for a short break on the drive. A couple of Revelstoke photos at the end of the album here.

Nakiska: the closest ski hill to Calgary (but mostly mediocre groomers) Beautiful drive into Kananaskis Upon arrival, it was crowded - but being noon, people were wrapping up!
