On the way to Canada / Bugaboos, we were hoping to climb at the Elephant's Perch in Idaho. Unfortunately, a wildfire erupted just as we were about to board the boat to cross Redfish Lake - and the whole area got evacuated! We spent the night around Stanley Lake instead and returned the following morning, hoping to still go climbing... but it was not to be. The whole area was closed, and the firefighters said it will be at least 3-4 days until it reopens. Hence, we made the decision to drive north to Montana, and go to Canada ahead of schedule (this was helped by the fact that the weather forecast for the Bugaboos looked great in the short term!)

		And then a fire started, less than a mile from us! Instead of the boat ride, we were soon evacuated :(

	The next morning, the fire is still burning... mission aborted	So to escape the fires, we went north ahead of schedule!	Flathead Lake, Montana - we went for a swim in it
